The Aquos Mobile 3 is Sharp's next iteration of the traditional foldable keitai for Softbank and its subsidiary Y!Mobile, where it's sold under the 806SH name. In fact this phone is identical to the SH-02L released on Docomo in mid-October 2018, only the Softbank/Y!Mobile version will reach stores in mid-April 2019.

This phone's target audience is, as usual, elderly people and (elderly) businessmen.

The Aquos Mobile 3 (806SH) has the standard 3.4-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 px and its main selling points are "easy-to-hear phone", "easy-to-see screen", and "easy-to-press keys".

It is easier to hear because the top-mounted speaker is now larger than before, in fact, it's now 15% bigger. And you can hear your own voice in the earpiece, which further facilitates communication.

The vibrator has also been enlarged, by 1.4 times, meaning it should now be easier to notice an incoming call, even if the phone is in an external pocket (because you know that your phone ringing in the public in Japan is quite frequently frowned upon).

There is also a "clarity view" feature that, when enabled, enhanses colours so that images are easier to see for the elderly.

It is also a sturdy phone – the Aquos Mobile 3 is waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof.

This Aquos Mobile is powered by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 that has four cores, each clocked at 1.1 GHz, has 1 gigabyte of RAM, and 8 gigabytes of onboard storage.

Although the battery capacity is quite small compared to those installed in smartphones (1680 mAh), it should be able to last a few days on a single charge – Sharp actually advertise it as "over one week of battery life" – now with intelligent charging to prolong battery life.

LTE radio frequencies supported, it is capable of reaching 112.5 mbit/s download and 37.5 mbit/s upload speeds, and can tether its data connection.

Features include FeliCa, infrared, and OneSeg TV. The supported version of Bluetooth is 4.2. Single-channel (2.4 GHz) Wi-Fi connectivity is supported. Infrared is also available.

The following radio frequencies are supported:

FDD-LTE 2100 (B1) / 1800 (B3) / 900 (B8) MHz

W-CDMA 2100 (I) / 900 (VIII) MHz.

GSM 1900/1800/900/850 MHz.

The Aquos Mobile 3 (806SH) is running a heavily customised version of Android (unknown version, probably 8), with Google apps removed, including Google Play.

The Aquos Mobile 3 is available in green, black, and white.
