The SH-13C is another one of the Summer 2011 DoCoMo collection. It appears to be the "smaller" brother of the SH-12C, but without 3D capability, and is the second phone of the new naming convention DoCoMo have started - AQUOS PHONE.
Having a smaller display than the SH-12C's gigantic, I would say, 4.2 inches, the SH-13C has a "mere" 3.7 inches but keeps the QHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The camera has also been downgraded to an 8 megapixel CMOS-matrix and it can't make full HD videos.
Other specifications remain the same - the SH-13C will be running Android Gingerbread (v. 2.3), and will have the same connection capabilities - Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, infrared, microUSB 2.0 (high speed), WCDMA and GSM.
All phones of the AQUOS PHONE series will be capable of using the new 14 Mbps network starting in July 2011.
The CPU and RAM/ROM have not yet been officially confirmed (they're blank dots on the leaked out DoCoMo brochure), but we expect the SH-13C AQUOS PHONE will have the same Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM and 2GB ROM.
The SH-13C is also water resistant and dust proof (IPX5/7 and IP5X).
This is the first Sharp smartfone to support wireless (Qi) charging.
