The SH-04D is dubbed the Q-pot phone and is part of the DoCoMo Q-pot series of chocolate-styled phones. The previous members of the Q-pot family, however, are not smartphones and run DoCoMo's proprietary OS: the SH-04C and the SH-04B.
This Q-pot runs Android 2.3 and has a 3.7-inch QHD (940 x 560) screen. Underneath is a 1 Ghz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8255 CPU and 512 BM of RAM / 2 GB of ROM. The camera is an 8 MP CMOS shooter that can capture HD videos.
The Q-pot SH-04D comes with a "Chocobed" wireless charger and has all Japan-standard features such as Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, Infrared, Mobile Wallet, and many others but there is no One Seg TV. It supports both 3G and GSM frequencies.
Like all new Sharp phones, the SH-04D is waterproof (grade IPX5/7) but dustproof-ness isn't mentioned aand is presumably lacking.
The Q-pot SH-04D measures 60mm × 119mm × 12.3mm (H x W x D) and weighs about 127 grams. It is only available in one colour, the "bitter choco".
