The Aquos Phone Zeta SH-09D looks like the flagship of the Summer 2012 DoCoMo collection.
The SH-09D features a 4.7 inch display with HD resolution (1280 x 720) of the new S-CGSilicon class of displays Sharp is making, promising even higher image quality, combined with a new image processing engine dubbed the 3 SV.
The Zeta is powered by a 1.5 Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 (Krait) processor and 1 GB of RAM. The on-board storage capacity is a first-time-ever for a Sharp smartphone - 16 gigabytes!
It supports Xi (LTE), W-CDMA (3G + 3G 850 Mhz) and GSM frequencies.
The camera is a 12 MP CMOS shooter with a LED flash, and there is a front-facing 0.32 MP camera for video calls. The SH-09D has everything standard: One Seg, Bluetooth, infrared, Wi-Fi b/g/n, mobile wallet and is water-proof and dust-proof. It also features Dolby ® Mobile v3.
Battery capacity is 1900 mAh and the phone supports wireless charging.
The Aquos Phone Zeta SH-09D was released running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The update to 4.1 (Jelly Bean) rolled out in the end of July 2013.
Dimensions are: 130 × 67 × 10.8 mm and the weight is 140 grams.
