The Aquos Phone 102SH2 is a "remix" version of the 102SH launched by SoftBank last season.

This new version comes with an additional frequency band, the so called Platinum Band at 900 MHz which is supposed to deliver improved connectivity in closed spaces.

The Aquos Phone 102SH2 comes with a large 4.5 inches of screen estate boasting the now "standard" resolution for most Sharp smartphones - 1280 x 720 (HD) - and 329 ppi pixel density.

The device is powered by a dual-core OMAP4430 processor running at 1 GHz and has 1 GB of RAM. The built-in memory is 2 GB (1.1 GB available to the user), expandable to up to 32 GB using microSDHC cards.

The Aquos Phone 102SH2 has a 12.1 megapixel camera of the ProPix series with optical image stabilization and back-illuminated CMOS sensor. It can capture Full HD video.

It comes with all features now deemed perfectly standard - Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, Infrared, OneSeg TV, Mobile Wallet. Water- and dust-proofing are among other standard features.

The Aquos Phone 102SH2 was originally released with Android 2.3 but the upgrade to 4.0 (ICS) rolled out in September 2012, also adding the new Sharp user interface, Feel UX.

It comes in "classy black", "silver" and "pink", measures 65 × 128 × 9.8mm, and weighs 137 grams.
